Podcasts

The Sample Chapter Podcast is an excellent resource for hearing great interviews about what current authors are up to. You also get to hear the author read from their work! Click here to learn more. 

Writing Excuses is also a fantastic site for gaining insight into the wonderful world of writing. Click here to learn more.  

Writing in general

David Farland offers awesome advice from his years of experience teaching writing, and his own published novels are excellent.

Wordsmith.org offers a great deal of information. One of my favorite options is getting a new word each day that helps to expand my knowledge.

Scrivener is an excellent writing tool for those composing novels. Word and other writing software tools are great, but Scrivener is an excellent alternative. Click here for more information. 
The Writers of Warrensburg is an excellent group of writers who strive to help each other author as much as possible. To see resources from the group, please click here.
Writing for theater and film is of interest to many authors. A reader from the Salt Lake City area recommended this site, and I also think it is very useful. Click here for more information. There are even more resources within the link for your review.
